Tori Helene<\/a> has dropped a vibrant new video for her latest single, \u201cSitting Pretty.\u201d The Natown-produced earworm finds Helene unapolgetically feeling herself, as she weaves cocky lines with messages of self-love and independence. \u201cLookin\u2019 real good but what\u2019s the catch?\/If you know better, you won\u2019t get attached,\u201d the Cincinnati mainstay<\/a> croons.<\/p>\n
The bold new visual catches the “2 Legit<\/a>” singer gazing lovingly at herself in a mirror as she stretches out on a luxurious chaise lounge. Meanwhile, an onslaught of admirers vie for her affection. “Anything I want\/Anything goes\/You want me bad\/Well, so does your bros,” she teases.<\/p>\n
\u201cI wanted the message to be about being pretty, confident and flirty. Not really needing a man but wanting to flirt a little bit – something that I know girls can relate and sing along to,\u201d Helene tells Audiofemme. \u201c[It\u2019s] definitely one of my favorite records I\u2019ve ever made.”<\/p>\n
<\/iframe><\/p>\n<p>\u201cSitting Pretty\u201d follows Helene\u2019s single \u201c<a href=\"https:\/\/open.spotify.com\/album\/0bEESb4tjqxSE70DMCkN8e?si=8tIYc8ciRZOA99kfa_K8rQ\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener noreferrer\">If You\u2019re Lucky<\/a>,\u201d which the singer released in May. She says the two tracks will be followed by a full-length project in 2021. \u201cI actually was in the process of releasing a new project, but there’s been a change of plans,\u201d she explains. \u201cI want to go a different direction with my artistry, and I feel that right now isn\u2019t the best time to release another project.\u201d Instead, Helene plans to share a few more loosies from her scrapped effort later this fall, while she prepares to release her next project in the new year. \u201cRight now, I\u2019m finishing up the writing process and will be recording and getting everything ready for that release,\u201d she says. \u201cBut new music and content is still on the way!\u201d<\/p>\n<p>Helene\u2019s upcoming project will follow her 2019 EP, <a href=\"https:\/\/www.audiofemme.com\/playing-cincy-tori-helene-delusional\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener noreferrer\"><em>Delusional<\/em><\/a>.
