Earlier this year, Cincinnati<\/a> rapper Khari<\/a> released his debut project, Sinsinnati<\/em>. Now, he\u2019s enlisted some of the Queen City\u2019s best talent to hop on a remix of the standout track, \u201cDa Art of Ignorance.\u201d Maintaining his hard-hitting chorus, Khari swaps his verses out for bars from Allen4President<\/a>, Dayo Gold, Phresh Kyd, Roberto, B.A.N.K.$. and \u00a1Jay Hill!<\/p>\n

The original \u201cDa Art of Ignorance\u201d arrived with a thought-provoking visual, directed by Kevin Garner and backed by Khari\u2019s affiliated production company, Be The Best Entertainment (BTB). In the newly remixed version, the Cincinnati emcees apply the pressure to the bold and dance-worthy track.<\/p>\n

<\/iframe><\/p>\nAfter Khari\u2019s initial hook, Allen4President cuts in around the :40 mark. \u201cI seen it all \/ From the dope killings and the potholes \/ From the Queen City to the King\u2019s Island \/ We got queens, really, so why kings wildin\u2019?\u201d he raps.<\/p>\n\u201cI hopped on the remix for numerous reasons,\u201d Allen told AudioFemme. \u201cIt\u2019s a good song and I can relate to it. I truly believe it\u2019s a crazy world, but I can\u2019t speak to what I don\u2019t know. I\u2019ve seen, heard, and have done a lot in Cincinnati. It just made sense and was on par with what I normally make music about – the real-life experiences of Cincinnati.\u201d<\/p>\n\u201cI\u2019m happy for Khari, simply because I like all of the moves he makes, along with his team,\u201d he continued. \u201cThere\u2019s a big support system behind Khari and the rest of BTB and I\u2019m happy he reached out in the way he did. He\u2019s 1,000% accomplishing a lot in a small amount of time and it\u2019s inspiring to see. Gotta respect and show love to the real!\u201d<\/p>\nFollowing Allen\u2019s verse, <a href=\"https:\/\/www.audiofemme.com\/playing-cincy-dayo-gold-epsm\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener noreferrer\">Dayo Gold<\/a> arrives to lay some heat of his own.<\/p>\n\u201cKhari is just a guy with a lot of energy and passion when he\u2019s performing and I immediately connected with that,\u201d Dayo said of working with Khari. \u201cHe hollered at me about jumping on the remix and I said yeah, no question. I\u2019ve always wanted to jump on a remix\u2014it\u2019s just so hip hop to me. Especially with the song being from someone I view with dope talent.\u201d<\/p>\n<iframe loading=\"lazy\" src=\"https:\/\/open.spotify.com\/embed\/album\/0AGQoreLDmFzCoiXtT2LTY\" width=\"300\" height=\"380\" frameborder=\"0\"><\/iframe><\/p>\nLanding at around the 2-minute mark Phresh Kyd hops in with his own flow. \u201cWhat\u2019s inside I bet will differ \/ From whatever you consider \/ Let me guess, I\u2019m a high-class pothead \/ On the way to penitentiary since I\u2019m not dead,\u201d he spits.<\/p>\nB.A.N.K.$. marks the track\u2019s next arrival with a boost of energy. \u201cMr. Miyagi, we turn up the party \/ Popping the bottles, I\u2019m pouring Bacardi \/ Feel Like a Migos, I\u2019ll take a Ferrari \/ Offset, now I got me a Cardi,\u201d he raps.<\/p>\n<a href=\"https:\/\/www.audiofemme.com\/playing-cincy-interview-patterns-of-chaos\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener noreferrer\">Patterns of Chaos’ \u00a1Jay Hill!<\/a> and Roberto trade the remix\u2019s remaining bars, maintaining fierce intensity until Khari closes out the track.<\/p>\n\u201cI decided to recruit those guys because, first and foremost, they are good artist friends of mine here in the city and I respect all of their artistry,\u201d Khari said. \u201cThe idea of doing a remix came about when I put on my show for my album Sinsinnati<\/em>. All those guys were on the bill with me and we all put on a great show in front of a nice crowd at Arts\u2019 OTA.
