Looking to get lost in a world of sound? Carmen Villain<\/a>, aka Norwegian singer\/songwriter and former model Carmen Hillestad, has released a new 7\u201d single of dreamy pop music, Quietly\/Let Go.<\/em><\/span><\/p>\n

\u201cQuietly\u201d is an eerily ethereal soundscape of guitars and brooding background noise.\u00a0<\/span>While the music builds around her voice, Villain\u2019s vocals remain tethered down, dark and dreamy.\u00a0<\/span>\u201cLet Go\u201d is a quieter track\u00a0that\u00a0feels as if\u00a0you\u2019ve gotten lost in a forest; it starts with chattering bird-like noises and swirls of synths and reverb. Villain\u2019s muffled voice is only present for the last minute of the song, before the track fades quietly out.<\/span><\/p>\n

Quietly\/Let Go<\/i> is available to download digitally on January 20th. For those of you who prefer a copy you can show off on your bookcase, you\u2019ll have to wait until February 10th when the physical copy is released through Smalltown Supersound<\/a>.\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n
