  • RIP Alan Vega

    Alan Vega, the singer of the New York band Suicide, passed away on Saturday at the age of 78. NPR has called him “one of the founding fathers of punk” and his death has prompted covers from Pearl Jam and MGMT, and statements from Henry Rollins and Bruce Springsteen.   • Unheard David Bowie Album Coming Out

    Get ready for some new David Bowie… eventually. A release date hasn’t been announced, but a new box set will include The Gouster, an unreleased Bowie album that was the prototype for Young Americans. The set, Who Can I Be Now, will also cover his releases from 1974-1976.
